Who we are ?

Khalifa Hockey club Khalifa is not a name ‘’ Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is the president of the United Arab Emirates, the Emir of Abu Dhabi and the supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces since 2004. We respect him and give a name to our club. Khalifa hockey club is the mutual working club with Khalifa football club and we work on the same platform for the growth of all ages to play in all environment.

Khalifa hockey club Khalifa hockey club are playing in all circumstances and we represent flag of UAE . We played in different environments like in Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi, Poland, Netherland, Ukrain, Czech Republic and much more. We represent the honor of our beloved country United Arab Emirates. Our players are well trained and well honored.

Khalifa hockey club is the first field hockey club in Fujairah and playing in different leagues and tournaments in all over Gulf and played with different Nationals and international clubs and teams .

Our Concept

Field hockey is a team sport; therefore it can’t be played on own. Each moment regardless of its nature must be shared with other individuals called team-mates. For instance, scoring a beautiful goal or losing in penalties of a competition.Win or lose! We are all in it together. Like a family and as a tribe! We are there for each other in happy & tough times!

Field Hockey Enviroment

Hockey has evolved, it’s much faster than ever before. Players are required continuously to fulfil their duties on the turf as the success of a team is directly connected to its collective play.

Superstars sometimes shine their involvement in their team’s victory however is not as visible as before. The productivity level of a team & the non-verbal communication of its members will most of the time define its success. At Khalifa Academy we want our teams to play within a specific style.

Have a plan ready in each situation, Trust team-mates & use them More link-up & Combination play ,Focus on creativity, Plan B & involving as many team mates as possible.Don’t force it individual, look at the bigger picture.
